The new World Champion for Runabout Class.

The 2014 IFWA has been run and Jay has taken out all 3 rounds in Runabout, how about we call it "BLASTER CLASS" Champion.
Jay Clinched 1st in every event, held in Australia, France & England. From huge Surf in Australia to tiny surf in France and about 2-3ft in England.
Jay is the 1st ever freeride world Champion from Australia. His origins stem from the dry, desolate outback (next door to Crocodile Dundee), where water is rare. After he built his Mad Max car and left for the coast, he never looked back once he discovered the surf. Well done, 701 is proud of you and also thanks you for you support in developing the best blaster parts in the world, now used by the best Rider in the WORLD~!!!
Jay took the QS-S Steering, Surf straps and Rocker Nose with him as his essential parts.
The party is waiting for your return.

One of WA up and coming Free Riders 'Brock Pike' injured himself while preforming a Nac Nac flip today on Lancelin back beach. While there were fears of spinal injuries, we have had news that this is not the case. I know the whole Jet Ski community will be behind Brock and hoping for a speedy recovery.

It was great to see so many fellow riders/friends assist in Brock's rescue. Very proud to be associated with you all.
4 Aussies head to France and England next month to take on the world.
Mitch, Mick and Jay are heading OS to compete in rounds 2 &3 of the IFWA Freeride world tour and are looking to maintain their championship lead after success @ the Krash IFWA round 1 in Portsea Victoria last February. Mick is in first place at present with his great mate and biggest rival Mitch in second. The legendary Jay is also situated in first place in the newly appointed runabout class and he is set to take on his idol the Frenchmen Pierre. I believe Nick Barton is heading over also to participate in the up coming next two rounds. Keep your eyes open as the boys tell me that they will post regular up dates on the front page of ozfreeride.com and we wish them all the luck OS.
Yamaha WaveRunners is thrilled to announce its unrivalled domination at 2014 AJSBA Bridge to Bridge Race in Sydney over the weekend. Yamaha Factory Team Riders Matt Brunt & Mitch Wayt both rode a flawless flag-to-flag race on their stock runabout class FZS SVHOs, with both riders launching off the line and running away from the competition early in the race. After a unremitting battle of trading 1st and 2nd places with each other, Yamaha Factory Rider Matt Brunt was able just inch ahead of his teammate to take chequered flag by less than a second from Mitch Wayt; securing Yamaha Factory Racing’s third consecutive win of the season.
“We’re very happy with the result today; it was an excellent team performance.” Said Matt Brunt – Yamaha Factory Team Rider. “Even before the race had started, the Yamaha FZS SVHO was showing its competitiveness throughout the practice sessions and class heats. Both Mitch and I had a fantastic start; we were able to out hole-shot the rest of the competition on our FZS SVHOs and were able to build-up an early gap and run away from the rest of the pack. By the time we crossed the chequered flag, we had built a gap of nearly a minute to 3rd place!”
This is the third consecutive win of the season, and fifth podium in only three races for the Yamaha Factory Racing Team and their “Stock Runabout class” FZS SVHOs.
The fifth and final round of the national tour will be held at the St George Sailing Club, Sydney on May 17. All eyes will be on the Yamaha Factory Team Riders and their “stock class” FZS SVHOs, where they’re...
